Jackie has signed a recording agreement with Melody Place, LLC, based in Nashville, TN. Jackie said 'Im thrilled to be back in the studio and even more thrilled to be doing it in Nashville. Im very excited for the journey I am about to embark on and to be recording for Melody Place.'  (Melody Place's Sanborn McGraw, Jackie, and Melody Place President Fred Mollin)Fred Mollin also said 'To have Jackie on our label is just unbelievably thrilling. Since the age of 10, she has held millions of people in the palm of her hand with her exquisite vocals, and Melody Place is so proud to be her new label home. And let's not forget she's only 20'. |
Melody Place was founded by Leigh Shockey and Fred Mollin, notable producer (Jimmy Webb, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Mathis) and President of Melody Place. Jackie is currently in the studio with Mollin recording her Melody Place debut, including her fresh take on Joni Mitchell's song 'River', which will be released by Melody Place on Oct. 23 and distributed by BMG. 'River was written by one of the greatest female songwriters of our time and being able to interpret it with these incredible musicians and Fred Mollin at the helm was a true honor' said Jackie. Fred Mollin is delving into several upcoming projects, with one of them being Jackie's anticipated new album 'Carousel of Time', to be released in the first quarter of 2022. Her expanding repertoire, collaborations with artists and writers, have inspired a new generation of fans eager for more. And at 20, Jackie is in a unique position to bring her vast experience and young woman’s perspective to her debut at Melody Place. She has moved past the exuberant promise of a child prodigy, becoming a young adult with a clear vision of the path she wants to take as a performer. |
