It is no small wonder that Jackie Evancho captured Sharon Osbourne’s heart, because she has captured the hearts of so many others in America. Sharon Osbourne, one of the hosts of "The Talk" on CBS, welcomed Jackie to her show Friday afternoon. “She is on her way to super-stardom,” said Sharon Osbourne, who proclaimed the 11-year-old singer has “stolen my heart”. Sharon Osbourne was one of the hosts late last summer when Jackie appeared on "America’s Got Talent", the show that catapulted her to stardom. As Sharon Osbourne noted, even though Jackie was the runner-up, she has made dozens of appearances since then and appeared with the likes of Josh Groban.

“How do you keep grounded, missus?” Osbourne asked. Jackie replied by crediting her parents, Mike and Lisa Evancho, of Richland Township. “I’m not much of a fan of the 'stuck-up stuff’,' ” said Jackie. “And I love being kind to people.” Sharon Osbourne asked her to name the place she enjoyed visiting most over the past year, Jackie's answer was Malibu, “I love the beach. And I found a sand dollar,” she said with a smile.

As for as her favorite people, Jackie listed Oprah Winfrey, Muhammad Ali, and President Barack Obama. Sharon Osbourne seemed surprised to hear that Jackie sang for the president. “And did you meet his girls?” Sharon Osborne asked. Jackie assured her that she had met the First Daughters, and that they were “really nice.”

Mike Evancho and Jackie’s younger brother, Zach, accompanied Jackie to the show and sat in the front row of the audience. Mike told Osbourne what he had told Pine-Richland Patch earlier this year. “My wife or I are always with her,” he said. "We try to balance things."

They also take one of Jackie’s siblings on their travels so she doesn’t get bored, he said. The Evanchos have four children, so they “rotate” to decide who travels with them, Mike explained. In an earlier interview, he told Patch that his wife, Lisa, often travels with Jackie, because he gets really nervous before his daughter performs. “I don’t know why because she obviously performs beautifully, but I don’t want Jackie picking up when I am nervous,” he had said.

He didn’t appear nervous today on ‘The Talk’ as he smiled broadly with Zach at his side. Mike told Patch that the three had taken a day off from their trip to the West Coast to visit Universal Studios Hollywood and relax prior to visiting "The Talk". In a final question, Osbourne asked Jackie if she likes boys yet. “I like them as friends,” Jackie answered, and then they both laughed.

Jackie concluded her visit to the show by singing one of the songs from her new CD, “Dream with Me”, that was released June 14. The little singer received a standing ovation, which is common after her performances. “I adore you so much,” Sharon Osbourne told her with a hug.
